There is no minimum age for a trial flight. However we would expect that the student is able to see out over the coaming and to be able to operate the pedals of the aircraft.
In addition to the above , below the age of 14 years , the hours flown will not count towards the PPL license.
I deally if you want to learn to fly then 14 years old is a good age to start.
Students are able to go solo at 16 years old and PPL License issue is at 17 years old.If you start at 14 expect the lessons to be spread out initially and then as you get towards you 16th birth day , the frequency will increase to get you ready for Solo.
We would suggest that if you haven't been up in a small plane , you should have a trial flight. This would enable you to experience the sensations of flight and to see if you may get on with your instructor.
If all goes well and you wish to make a start , your instructor will be able to suggest a program based on your time availability and frequency. He will be able to make some bookings for you.
Yes we are bound by the aircraft's weight and balance schedule.
We also have a maximum seat weight. We can take students upto 210lbs
